Blunt Intruments

2012 has been a great year for me in terms of publishing.  One of the first pieces I've had out is the poem "Blunt Instruments," published by the Boston Literary Magazine.  I wrote this piece about three years ago when I was going through my Oblique Period.  I was writing a bunch of strange poems that kind of twisted and turned around the topic at hand but never delved directly into the theme or premise.  These experiments in indirection were all inspired by one of my favorite living writers, the poet Thomas Lux.  When you click on the link, you'll have to scroll down to get to my poem.  Or you can read the other pieces along the way.  The BLM publishes some pretty good stuff.
