This is my second, yes my second, short story inspired by the passing of the artist still known as Prince. This piece follows a visit by a struggling musician to Paisley Park. She assumes she will have an invitation to sleep her way to the top. Instead she is invited to address the song that has been both her greatest triumph and her most poignant failure.
